The Temple of Careers, Choice is Always Yours
The glass tower asks for everything, its litany of floors a prayer we climb on our knees. The homily speaks of calling, of a world that needs our best, and in the private room, the kind face in shadow names the obstacle: the heart already held.
The card is heavy, blank. The address is a seam in the basement of the self, a door the color of forgetting. Down there, the air smells clean, sterile of lullabies, of small hands, of the soft weight of a sleeping house.
The clocks keep perfect time. The promotion cycle turns. And in the room marked Recovery, women sit with tea and a new stillness, having made the world a clear path through the space where a life once whispered its claim. They do not speak its name. The tower only hums, counting its faithful, one unencumbered soul at a time.
